House of Janneke is a European lifestyle brand that creates objects designed to be kept. We make things that feel personal, considered and quietly beautiful, pieces that earn a place in people's homes and grow more meaningful over time.
In an increasingly digital world, there is a growing longing for more intentional, tangible ways of recording a life. Our keepsakes speak to that need, offering something calm, considered and lasting in place of a screen.
The pattern that runs through the range was created by Janneke's great-great-uncle, Ronald Simpson, an early 20th century fabric designer based in Carlisle, whose work is now part of the V&A collection.
What we make
Our range currently spans three keepsake books, each designed to be kept and used for a lifetime rather than a season.
Book of Special Days, our hero product, is a yearless diary to write down life's special moments.
Book of Special Guests is a ook for the people who were there, the friends who gathered for your wedding, the people who stay over or your friends for a quiet Sunday lunch.
Book of Recipes is a book for the recipes that earn a special place in your heart, your grandma's chocolate cake, your mum's stew that just tastes like home...
