Become a stockist!

We are always looking for stockists across the UK and Europe. If you think House of Janneke would be a good fit for your shop, we'd love to hear from you.

Who are we?

House of Janneke is a European lifestyle brand that creates objects designed to be kept. We make things that feel personal, considered and quietly beautiful, pieces that earn a place in people's homes and grow more meaningful over time.

In an increasingly digital world, there is a growing longing for more intentional, tangible ways of recording a life. Our keepsakes speak to that need, offering something calm, considered and lasting in place of a screen.

The pattern that runs through the range was created by my great-great-uncle, Ronald Simpson, an early 20th century fabric designer based in Carlisle, whose work is now part of the V&A collection.

The Story

Our products

Our customers value beautiful objects with purpose: people who buy thoughtfully for themselves, and people searching for a gift that carries real meaning. It's why our books turn up at engagements, weddings, new arrivals and birthdays, and just as often at the quieter moments: a new home, a fresh start, or simply a reminder that there are good days worth holding onto.

A pattern with a past

When I was searching for inspiration for our first collection, I realised it had been with me all along hanging above my desk.

The painting is an original pattern by my great-great-uncle, Ronald Simpson, a fabric and interior designer based near Kendal. Some of his work, created in the early 20th century, is now part of the Victoria and Albert Museum collection.

I love that the design comes from that part of the world - close to the Lake District, my favourite place - and that it carries a sense of home. We’ve refreshed the colours, but the pattern remains the same: a way of honouring his craft and my heritage, stitching the past into something new.
